The announcements were made in connection with local festivals, religious celebrations, and a scheduled water supply interruption affecting parts of Bulacan.

Work in government offices will also be suspended during the same period.
The suspension is due to the scheduled maintenance and shutdown of facilities operated by the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS), which is expected to cause widespread water interruptions in Bulacan.
The decision follows the recommendation of the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (LDRRMC) through Resolution No. 2026-009.
