The second term is about to begin, and teachers handling Grades 1 to 3 can now access these Ready-Made Daily Lesson Logs (DLLs) for Term 2, Week 1, covering September 16–18, 2026.
Prepared for Key Stage 1, these DLLs are designed to help teachers organize their lessons more efficiently while following the DepEd ILAW Framework.
For the opening week of Term 2, the materials provide a ready reference for classroom instruction based on the prescribed learning competencies and standards.

Because the first week of Term 2 covers only three school days, the lesson logs are arranged according to the competencies and learning targets intended for this period.
Teachers may use the files as a guide when preparing their daily lessons, classroom activities, and assessment tasks.
LESSONS ORGANIZED THROUGH THE ILAW FRAMEWORK
The DLLs follow the ILAW Framework, which helps organize each lesson into a clear and purposeful learning process.
Through this approach, teachers are guided in connecting previous knowledge with new lessons, developing learner understanding, providing opportunities for practice and application, and checking whether the expected learning outcomes have been achieved.
This structure also allows teachers to make classroom instruction more responsive to the actual needs and abilities of their learners.
READY TO USE, BUT OPEN FOR ADJUSTMENT
These lesson logs are provided to help teachers save time in lesson preparation, but they are not intended to be followed word for word.
Teachers are encouraged to review the materials before classroom use and make the necessary adjustments.
Activities may be simplified, expanded, localized, or replaced depending on the learners’ needs, available resources, class schedule, and school context.
Teachers may also include additional remediation, enrichment, differentiated activities, and localized examples whenever appropriate.
BEFORE USING THE DLLs
Teachers are advised to check the following:
learning competencies and lesson objectives;
sequence of lesson activities;
assessment and evaluation tasks;
appropriateness of examples and activities;
available classroom resources; and
alignment with current DepEd and school-level instructions.
Professional judgment should always guide the actual implementation of the lessons.
